Exchange & Warranty Information

Warranty Information:

The ECU Connection offers a 30-Day Limited Warranty. In the event you experience a problem with the functionality of a purchased unit, you must contact us with your diagnostic information. If the issue qualifies under warranty, we will provide a one-time exchange for a replacement unit, shipped at no additional cost to you via USPS Priority Mail. All warranty remedies are limited exclusively to exchange; no returns or refunds will be accepted under any circumstances.

All Air Bag Units, Test Units, and Cores are sold strictly as-is with no warranty expressed or implied. We will not be held responsible for the working condition of Air Bag units. Certain Infiniti and Nissan ECUs are also sold as-is; when applicable, this will be clearly noted in the product description.

This warranty does not extend to product installation, application, or any costs arising therefrom. The ECU Connection assumes no liability and will not reimburse or pay for labor charges, towing claims, technical fees, rental vehicles, lodging, or any related expenses. The ECU Connection’s limited warranty does not apply to defects or failures caused by misuse, collision, negligence, improper application, misdiagnosis, installation errors, or any modification of the product for any reason.

Core Returns:

Core returns are requested within 30 days of purchase. Please include a copy of the original invoice or service order form with the return, or clearly mark the package with the word “CORE” using a permanent marker or paint pen. While we do not offer a core return fee, we strongly encourage customers to return ECM cores to support the ongoing recirculation and reuse of ECU units within the automotive parts system. This practice helps preserve the availability of these components for future generations of vehicles.
